A Russian T-72B tank, destroyed by the Ukrainian army, goes on display in front of the Cathedral Square in Vilnius.

This war trophy is an example of how unity, fighting spirit, sacrifice, and unwavering support to Ukraine can fight against a well-armed enemy, the Defence Ministry said in a press release.

“All Russian tanks must become Ukrainian trophies. We must continue to support Ukraine to achieve victory as soon as possible,” Defence Minister Arvydas Anušauskas.

On the eve of the war, Russian troops are estimated to have had more than 2,250 T-72B tanks. Ukrainian troops managed to destroy and intercept at least 450 of these tanks.

The trophy tank will be on display in a car park near Cathedral Square in Vilnius until March 16.
