A planned performance by acclaimed British singer Rag’n’Bone Man at Kauno Dainų slėnis (Kaunas Song Valley) on Tuesday evening was cancelled due to health problems, organisers confirmed.

The pop star, real name Rory Graham, had arrived at the venue for a rehearsal but began to feel unwell and was taken to hospital by ambulance.

On Wednesday morning, the 40-year-old shared images on social media showing himself in a hospital bed at Kaunas Clinics.

“Getting stuck in a hospital in Lithuania was never on my bucket list.

Anyone watching anything good? I’ve got plenty of spare time.

Sorry to everyone who had tickets to my shows. Believe me, I’d much rather be on stage,” he wrote.

This was set to be his third performance in Lithuania, following previous shows in capital Vilnius and Karklė, western Lithuania.

Rising to fame a decade ago, Graham has won Brit Awards and other honours, releasing a string of internationally acclaimed hits.

Organisers said they would discuss rescheduling the performance for another date with his representatives, but stressed that Graham's recovery was the immediate priority.
