The Scandinavian airline SAS plans to increase the number of its flights between Vilnius and Copenhagen from the end of March next year, offering 26 flights a week instead of 21.
This decision has been secured by applying the de minimis flight incentive mechanism granted by the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Lithuanian Airports (LTOU) announced on Thursday.
“The additional flights between Vilnius and Copenhagen will make it even more convenient for passengers not only to reach the important aviation centre of the Scandinavian region, but also to use the connecting flights between Europe and the USA offered by the airline,” LTOU said in a statement.
