Polish President Andrzej Duda and his wife are expected to visit Lithuania on July 5–7, the Lithuanian president’s office said on Monday.
The state visit will begin with a bilateral meeting between Duda and Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda, followed by the two visiting the Palace of the Grand Dukes to see Sigismund Augustus’ tapestry collection.
The Lithuanian and Polish presidents are the patrons of the exhibition.
On July 6, the King Mindaugas Coronation Day, Duda and Nausėda will attend the flag raising ceremony outside the presidential palace and the Holy Mass in the Cathedral before joining the live singing of the Lithuanian national anthem in the central Cathedral Square in the evening.
On Friday, the presidents will travel to the port city of Klaipėda to observe a joint rapid response and combat readiness exercise by Lithuanian and Polish Special Forces.
The presidents’ spouses will visit the Šviesa day care centre in Vilnius and the Palanga Art Education Centre of the National Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis School of Art.
