Military representatives from 18 NATO member states are visiting Lithuania on Friday to get acquainted with the situation on NATO's eastern flank.
“It’s a great honour for me to receive NATO military representatives in Lithuania. I’m sure that after the visit, the countries whose representatives visited us will have an even clearer picture of Lithuania’s security and defence,” Chief of Defence Lieutenant General Valdemaras Rupšys said.
NATO military representatives will visit Lithuania’s military units, as well as those of NATO countries deployed in Lithuania, and will get acquainted with their activities and structure, the Lithuanian Armed Forces said.
In Rukla, meetings will take place with the leadership and troops of Lithuania’s Land Force, as well as with the contingents of the NATO eFP multinational battle group and the Forward Command Element of the German Brigade.
