Eight out of ten Lithuanians think that the situation in the country is getting worse, a poll conducted by Baltijos Tyrimai for LRT has found.
Seventy-eight percent of respondents said in February that things in Lithuania were getting worse, slightly down from 79 percent a month ago and 81 percent a year ago.
Nineteen percent thought that the situation in the country was improving, down from 20 percent in January, but up from 13 percent in February 2022.
The remaining 3 percent of respondents had no opinion or did not answer the question, up from one percent a month ago, but down from six percent a year ago.
According to the latest poll, the Armed Forces remain the most trusted institution in Lithuania, with an approval rating of 77 percent and a disapproval rating of 18 percent.
Meanwhile, the parliament is the least trusted institution: only 20 percent of the respondents said they trusted it, while 76 percent said they did not.
Baltijos Tyrimai polled 1,003 people aged over 18 between February 15 and 28.
