On Wednesday, Lithuania is starting to vaccinate children aged 5-11 against the coronavirus.
On Monday, the country received the first batch of 78,000 doses of the BioNTech/Pfizer's Comirnaty vaccine suitable for children.
Around 2,000 children have already been registered for vaccination. Children will receive two shots of the vaccine three weeks apart.
The European Medicines Agency recommends vaccinating people aged 5-11 with a three-week gap between two vaccine jabs.
