Lithuania has recorded a record number of new coronavirus cases second day in a row. On Thursday, the country registered 3,330 new infections.
Thirty-one people have also died of Covid-19, bringing the country’s total death toll to 735. Some 365 coronavirus-infected people have died of other causes since the start of the pandemic.
Over the past 24 hours, 1,220 people have also recovered from the coronavirus.

A total of 83,883 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Lithuania so far. Some 47,810 people are still ill with the virus and 34,975 have recovered.
As of Thursday morning, 1,372,990 tests for Covid-19 have been carried out in Lithuania, including 13,240 over the past 24 hours.
