The first Tesla showroom in the Baltics will open in Lithuania in early 2025, representatives of the American electric car manufacturer informed LRT.lt.
The new premises will be located on the road from Vilnius to Trakai, at J. Tiškevičiaus Street 26.
“Lithuanians can now customise the look of their car and order Model 3 and Model Y, with first deliveries scheduled for early 2025,” Tesla said in a statement.
In September, Tesla started offering its Model Y and Model 3 cars at its pop-up store at Akropolis shopping mall in Vilnius. In the future, Lithuanians should also be able to buy other Tesla cars – Model S and Model X.
The announcement that Tesla, led by the richest man on earth, Elon Musk, is coming to Lithuania was made at the beginning of August this year.
Tesla Lithuania was established on August 7 with a share capital of 230,000 euros. Its ultimate shareholder is Tesla, Inc., registered in Austin, Texas.

Tesla Lithuania intends to import, distribute, sell, maintain, and repair electric vehicles, stationary energy storage systems, and equipment.
According to the Social Insurance Fund (Sodra), the company had eight employees on December 12.
Data from Regitra, Lithuania’s state-owned enterprise in charge of driving tests and car licenses, shows that the first Tesla car was registered in Lithuania on April 3, 2014.
Back then, Tesla cars were a rarity on the country’s roads. For example, in 2015, 11 Tesla cars were registered in Lithuania, and 33 were registered in 2016. The number of these electric cars started to grow significantly in 2020.
Last year alone, 1,207 new Tesla cars were registered in Lithuania, and by the beginning of December this year, 1,087 new Tesla vehicles were registered in the country.
