Ukraine’s postal service provider Nova Poshta has opened a branch in Vilnius.

"It is a great honour for us to do business in Lithuania – I am sure that Nova Poshta [...] will become a reliable partner," said Volodymyr Popereshnyuk, co-founder of Nova Poshta, adding that the company will also establish itself in Kaunas in May.

The Vilnius branch is located at 92 Žalgirio Street, where customers can send and receive parcels of up to 1,000 kilogrammes.

Nova Poshta also plans to open branches in Estonia and Latvia.

All three Baltic countries have admitted tens of thousands of Ukrainian refugees since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion on February 24. Around 42,000 Ukrainian refugees have received residency permits in Lithuania.
