On Friday, Lithuanian celebrates a Car-free Day, while some municipalities are offering free travel on public transport.
On this day, people are invited to “forget” their cars and choose a more environmentally friendly way of getting around.
As such, Vilnius, Šiauliai, Utena, Alytus, Kėdainiai, Akmenė, and Pakruojis municipalities are offering free public transport on Friday, according to the Transport and Communications Ministry.
