As of Wednesday, people coming to Lithuania must present a negative Covid-19 test taken no more than 72 hours before arrival.

“Serological antibody tests will not be valid for entry”, according to the Lithuanian government. The PCR test result will have to be translated into Lithuanian, English, or Russian and presented to the carrier before the journey.

Those travelling using their own transport must have a negative test taken no more than 72 hours before entry to Lithuania, but also register for a Covid-19 test in the country within 24 hours of arrival.

Exemption apply to crew members, travellers transiting Lithuania, people under 16 years old, and those who have been vaccinated or if they have recovered from the virus. People in the latter group will have to show a “positive SARS-CoV-2 PCR test or antigen test result" as proof.

Travellers must also complete a registration form before arrival and self-isolate for 10 days.

The full set of regulations are available on the government’s website.
