Three new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Lithuania over the past 24 hours, bringing the country's total count to 1,828, the Health Ministry reported on Friday. One more person died of Covid-19 on Thursday.
The person died in Santara Clinics after having been in treatment since mid-May, according to Ginreta Megelinskienė of the National Public Health Centre.
The person was in their 70s and had other health conditions, she added.
At the moment, 199 people in Lithuania are considered active Covid-19 cases, while 1,539 have already recovered.
In all, 79 people have died of Covid-19 in the country so far, 11 coronavirus-infected patients have died of other causes.
Lithuania tested 4,222 people for Covid-19 over Thursday.
