The Lithuanian government has allowed to resume regular flights to France, Finland and Denmark as of Thursday.
SAS has requested to relaunch services from Vilnius and Palanga airports to Copenhagen in Denmark.
Wizz Air is reopening flights between Kaunas and Turku (Finland). The airline will also be flying from Vilnius to Billund (Denmark) and Paris (France).
Vilnius–Paris flights will also be operated by AirBaltic.
According to Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius, who presented the proposal at the government sitting on Wednesday, regular flights from and to Lithuanian airports will restore the country's accessibility.
So far, regular direct flights from Lithuanian airports were available to Latvia, Estonia, Germany, the Netherlands and Norway.
However, only travelling to Latvia and Estonia is unrestricted. Travelers going to other countries must present evidence of the purpose of their trip.

On Monday, the Lithuanian government announced a list of 27 European countries from which travelers are allowed to come to Lithuania.
