Amid reports of foreign nationals receiving air alert messages in Lithuanian only, the authorities have published a step-by-step guide on how to activate them in English.
The full guide, based on phone models, is available on the government’s emergency information website and app, LT72.
“Alert messages sent to users of the LT72 mobile application are available in both Lithuanian and English. Information published on the LT72 website, which is dedicated to emergency preparedness, is also available in English,” Mindaugas Bajarūnas, head of strategic communications at the Interior Ministry, told LRT.lt.
