Lux Express has relaunched regular journeys between Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, while Ecolines will start operating later this week.
Tickets on Lux Express from Vilnius to Riga and Tallinn are already available, while journeys with Ecolines to the Latvian capital can be booked starting May 29.
Safety requirements vary by country, according to Estonian public broadcaster ERR News. In Estonia and Latvia, it is sufficient for the first row on a bus to be roped off to passengers. In Lithuania, however, passengers are required to be spaced out chessboard-style.

"The Latvians have found that masks must be worn or at least mouths covered on buses," said Estonian diplomat, Märt Volmer. "In Lithuania, it's in public indoor spaces. In Estonia, you don't have to wear a mask. These are all internal decisions that have been made by each country separately."
Lithuania has opened its borders only to Estonian and Latvian citizens and residents – except for several exceptions– as well as to the residents and citizens of Poland coming to Lithuania for business, work or education.
Lithuania's residents and nationals can return to the country, but are required to spend two weeks in self-isolation.
