The Ukraine support campaign Radarom!, organised by LRT and partner organisations, has raised more than 5.6 million euros.
The campaign was launched on February 3 and concluded on February 24, the third anniversary of Russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The sum is not yet final, however, and will be updated once donations from business companies are transferred.
The money will be used to buy drones and anti-drones for Ukraine. Two thirds of the money will be spent on drones and anti-drones made in Lithuania, and one third in Ukraine.
The campaign was organised by LRT and the Blue/Yellow, Laisvės TV and Stiprūs kartu organisations.
In 2023, the first Radarom! campaign raised over 14 million euros, which was used to buy 17 radars. Last year, the campaign raised over 8 million euros to buy over a thousand safe soldier kits.
