Two songs got closer to representing Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden this year.
The first Eurovision show on LRT on Saturday saw eight songs compete for two golden tickets. A five-member jury and televoters decided that Silvester Belt and VB gang were the best ones in the first heat.
A total of 40 bands and performers are competing for the chance to perform at Eurovision in Sweden in May. Each qualifying round will include eight acts and the two with the highest score from the jury and the public go straight through to the final on February 17.
