Lithuania will fund a standard school architectural project for Ukraine, which will cost the state 500,000 euros, the cabinet decided on Wednesday.
Authorities plan to prepare the project, entitled “School of the Future in Ukraine", by early 2025.
On Wednesday, Lithuanian ministers also discussed humanitarian projects, which have already been implemented, including the construction of a mobile residential camp for 36 families in Borodyanka and the renovation of the Rūta nursery in Irpin. Both facilities are located on the outskirts of Kyiv.
Lithuania is also completing the renovation of a school in Borodyanka, which is scheduled to be opened in October. The country has also prepared an upgraded model for the electricity distribution network of an energy company in Ukraine, Mykolaivoblenergo.
Lithuania started reconstruction works in Ukraine in the autumn of 2022.
