Lithuania’s government decided on Wednesday to donate nearly 5,000 coronavirus vaccines to Azerbaijan.

The jabs will be provided as humanitarian aid in response to Baku’s request.

The cabinet also allocated up to 5,000 euros from its reserve to the Health Ministry to cover transportation costs.

Azerbaijan will be given BioNTech and Pfizer jabs adapted for the Omicron strain.
