Lithuania confirmed 2,350 new cases of coronavirus infection over the last 24 hours, the country's statistics office reported on Saturday morning. Moreover, 23 people died of Covid-19.
Two of the diseased were in their 40s, one was in their 30s.
In all, 128,931 people have been diagnosed with the infection since the start of the pandemic, 65,751 of them remain active cases and 61,345 have recovered.
Meanwhile 1,228 people have died of Covid-19 in the country.
At the moment, 2,300 Covid-19 patients are being treated in Lithuania's hospitals, 194 of them in intensive care, according to the statistics office.
