Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda will take part in a second summit on Ukraine and European security, hosted by France on Wednesday, via video link, his office confirmed to BNS.
Reuters has reported that France this time invited European countries that were not present at a similar emergency summit on Monday, as well as NATO ally Canada.
In addition to Lithuania, the invited countries include Latvia, Estonia, Norway, Canada, the Czech Republic, Greece, Finland, Romania, Sweden, and Belgium, according to the news agency.
The format of the second summit will be hybrid, including video participation, it said.
