Two songs advanced to Lithuania’s national Eurovision final after nine artists presented their entries in the first EUROVIZIJA.LT show on Saturday.
Running out of Time by Anyanya and Tired by Justė Baradulinaitė received the highest combined score by the jury and televoters.
In all, 45 songs compete in the national selection for a chance to represent Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland, in May.
Lithuania’s national selection EUROVIZIJA.LT consists of five semi-finals with nine singers or bands in each. From each show, broadcast on Saturday evenings, the top two songs will go through to the final.
The EUROVIZIJA.LT Grand Final will take place on February 15 at Kaunas Žalgiris Arena.
