The updated Europol’s list of most wanted fugitives in Europe includes three Lithuanian nationals, according to the Lithuanian Police.
One of the Lithuanians on the Europol list is Tomas Bolgovas, born in 1983, who is wanted for murder. Bolgovas is suspected of having participated in the murder of Deimantas Bugavičius in 2015, acting in an organised group in exchange for a monetary reward.
The second Lithuanian among the most wanted is Renaldas Kanys, born in 1973. From 2007 to 2017, Kanys led an armed criminal organisation and smuggled large quantities of narcotic and psychotropic substances. He also organised the murder of the Lithuanian national.
The third Lithuanian citizen on the list is Darius Požarickij, born in 1980. Acting in a group of associates, he illegally disposed of very large quantities of narcotic substances and smuggled them. In 2021, the court sentenced Požarickij to 11 years in prison.
