Early voting for the second round of Lithuania’s parliamentary election began on Tuesday, with 63 MPs to be elected in single-member constituencies.
Eight candidates won outright victories in their constituencies in the first round on October 13.
The remaining 63 of Lithuania’s 71 single-member constituencies are holding run-offs between the two leading candidates.
Early voting stations in all 60 municipalities, including those where the MPs were elected in the first round, will be open between 07:00 and 20:00 from Tuesday through Thursday.
On Wednesday, voting will start at special polling stations, such as hospitals, social care homes, military units and prisons.

Eligible voters will be able to vote at home on Friday and Saturday.
On Sunday, election day, voting will only be allowed at polling stations within each voter’s designated constituency.
Seventy-eight out of 141 MPs were elected in the first round.
