A bomb squad of ARAS, a Lithuanian police anti-terrorist operations unit, was called to Vilnius Airport on Thursday evening over a possible explosive device.
According to the Police Department, a notification was received at around 18:17 on Thursday that a parcel containing an object resembling an improvised explosive device was found during an X-ray check at the airport.
ARAS’ mine clearance experts who arrived at the scene did not find any explosives in the parcel.
