The Vilnius City Municipality also warns the residents of the worsened air quality due to Sahara dust.
“Dust has arrived in Vilnius from the south along with the heat, with an increase in particulate matter in the air, which is leading to a deterioration in air quality,” the municipality said.
People are advised to stay indoors, keep windows shut, and wear a face mask when outdoors.
