The strong winds and freezing temperatures have transformed Lithuania’s Nida into a gallery of spectacular works of nature.
“The Curonian Spit looks really impressive today. The strong winds are causing the lagoon water to splash on benches, trees, and road signs and freeze in the air. [...] This is an almost annual phenomenon in the Curonian Spit,” Živilė Jankauskaitė, a public relations specialist at the Curonian Spit National Park Directorate, told LRT.lt.
