Lithuania testing warning sirens

Lithuania’s authorities are testing the country’s warning system at 11:52 on Thursday. Sirens will be sounding throughout the country.

People are also to receive notifications about the drill on their phones.

Lithuania established the LT72 initiative earlier this year following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, seeking to prepare the population for emergencies.
