An ambulance from the Dergachi Central Hospital in Ukraine's Kharkiv region, damaged by bullets and shrapnel, has gone on display in the Vincas Kudirka Square in central Vilnius.
According to the Embassy of Ukraine, the ambulance is one of the symbols of Russia’s brutality against Ukrainian civilians.
When Russia launched its large-scale invasion of Ukraine and occupied the villages and towns of the Kharkiv region, this vehicle was used to evacuate people from the most dangerous places.
Olena Fedorova, one of the project's initiators, says the damaged ambulance is a visual example that helps to convey the emotions and feelings of Ukrainians.
