Lithuania will provide 10 million euros in military aid to Ukraine, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda said on Wednesday.
"We will continue to provide our assistance and we are capable of continuing doing so swiftly. We have decided to allocate at least 10 million euros, but that amount could also be higher," Nauseda told reporters after a meeting of the State Defence Council.
"Our concrete assistance depends more on the production capacity and the ability to deliver that equipment in the shortest time possible, rather than on how much money we are ready to allocate," he added.
According to the president, assistance includes equipment produced by Lithuanian companies, including night vision devices, as well as anti-drone weapons.
Lithuania has been providing Ukraine with various humanitarian, medical and military assistance, including lethal weapons, since the start of the Russia's invasion. However, Vilnius does not provide details on specific weapons, citing security concerns.
