Lithuania has registered 212 new coronavirus infections and no deaths from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, the statistics office said on Monday morning.
The country also registered 397 new cases on Saturday and 184 on Sunday. One person died from Covid-19 on Saturday and another on Sunday.
Lithuania's 14-day coronavirus infection rate has now reached 122.9 cases per 100,000 people, with the daily share of positive tests unchanged at 2.7 percent, according to the latest statistics.
The country also performed 2,895 molecular (PCR) tests for Covid-19 and 2,893 antigen tests on Saturday.
Overall, 283,246 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Lithuania since the start of the pandemic, and the number of active cases has risen to 3,104 over the past 24 hours.
A total of 4,416 people have died from Covid-19 in Lithuania so far. The overall number of deaths directly or indirectly related to the coronavirus has reached 9,038.
Some 2,834 people were vaccinated in the country on Sunday – 775 were given their first shot and 2,059 received the second vaccine jab.
In all, 1.4 million people in Lithuania, or 50.6 percent of the population, have been vaccinated at least once, 1.2 million have received two vaccine shots.
