Lithuania has registered 60 new coronavirus infections and no deaths from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, the country's statistics office said on Monday morning.
Lithuania has also confirmed 164 new cases of coronavirus and no deaths from Covid-19 over the weekend.
The 14-day coronavirus infection rate has risen to 32.2 cases per 100,000 people, but the daily share of positive tests remains at 1.1 percent.
Some 2,121 molecular (PCR) tests for Covid-19 and 939 antigen tests have been performed in the last 24 hours.
Overall, 279,813 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Lithuania since the start of the pandemic, and the number of still ill people has risen to 871 over the past 24 hours.
A total of 4,404 people have died from Covid-19 in Lithuania so far. The overall number of deaths directly or indirectly related to the coronavirus has reached 8,985.
On Sunday, 911 people were vaccinated with the first vaccine shot, while 616 got their second jab.
In all, over 1.3 million people in Lithuania, or 46.7 percent of the population, have been vaccinated at least once, while over 1.1 million have had two vaccine shots.
