Lithuania has registered 22 new coronavirus infections and two deaths from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, the country's statistics office said on Monday morning.
Lithuania's 14-day coronavirus infection rate currently stands at 18.6 cases per 100,000 people, and the share of positive tests has been 0.7 percent over the past seven days.
There were 1,616 molecular (PCR) tests for Covid-19 and 1,127 antigen tests performed in the country over Sunday.
Overall, 279,217 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Lithuania since the start of the pandemic, of whom 531 are active cases.
A total of 4,400 people have died from Covid-19 in Lithuania so far. The overall number of deaths directly or indirectly related to the coronavirus has reached 8,970.
Fewer than 500 people were vaccinated in the country on Sunday: 278 with the first vaccine dose and 206 with the second jab.
Overall, some 1.28 million people in Lithuania, or 45.7 percent of the population, have been vaccinated at least once, while 1.07 million have had two vaccine shots.
