Lithuania has registered 415 new coronavirus infections and four deaths from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, the country's statistics office said on Wednesday morning.
Some 17,539 molecular (PCR) tests for Covid-19 and 7,197 antigen tests have been performed in the last 24 hours.
Lithuania's 14-day coronavirus infection rate currently stands at 263.2 cases per 100,000 people, and the share of positive tests over the past seven days at 2.3 percent.
Overall, 275,198 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Lithuania since the start of the pandemic.
A total of 4,283 people have died from Covid-19 in Lithuania so far. The overall number of deaths linked to the coronavirus has reached 8,640.
At present, 8,501 people are considered to be active cases, while 256,887 have recovered.
In the past 24 hours, 16,919 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, while 13,671 have received the second.
