Lithuania has registered 503 new coronavirus infections and five deaths from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, the country's statistics office said on Friday morning.
There were 14,969 molecular (PCR) tests and 6,674 antigen tests carried out on Thursday.
Lithuania's 14-day coronavirus infection rate currently stands at 348.5 cases per 100,000 people, and the share of positive tests has been 3.1 percent over the past seven days.
Overall, 273,346 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Lithuania since the start of the pandemic.
A total of 4,235 people have died from Covid-19 in Lithuania so far. The overall number of deaths directly or indirectly related to the coronavirus has reached 8,549.
Over 28,000 people in Lithuania were vaccinated on Thursday. So far, 988,507 people have been given at least one vaccine jab, or 35.4 percent of the population.
