Lithuania has registered 685 new coronavirus infections and ten deaths from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, the country's statistics office said on Tuesday morning.
Lithuania's 14-day coronavirus infection rate currently stands at 546.9 cases per 100,000 people, and the share of positive tests has been 5.4 percent over the past seven days.
There were 9,793 molecular (PCR) tests and 8,561 antigen tests performed on Monday.
Overall, 266,795 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Lithuania since the start of the pandemic.
Currently, 242,103 people are considered as having recovered from the disease and 15,315 as active cases.
A total of 4,126 people have died from Covid-19 in Lithuania so far. The overall number of deaths directly or indirectly related to the coronavirus has reached 8,334.
Over 14,000 people were vaccinated on Monday: 10,263 got the first shot and 4,278 received their second jabs.
In all, 875,664 people in Lithuania have been vaccinated at least once, or about 31.3 percent of the population.
