Lithuania has registered 1,235 new coronavirus infections and 15 deaths from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, the country's statistics office said on Wednesday morning.
Lithuania's 14-day coronavirus infection rate currently stands at 575.2 per 100,000 people, and the share of positive tests has been 5.8 percent over the last seven days.
There were 15,910 molecular (PCR) tests and 9,222 antigen tests performed in the last 24 hours.
Since the start of the pandemic, 252,699 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Lithuania.
Currently, 227,526 people are considered as having recovered from Covid-19, while 16,178 remain active cases.
A total of 3,993 people have died from Covid-19 in Lithuania so far. The overall number of deaths directly or indirectly related to the coronavirus has reached 8,052.
