Lithuania has registered 1,067 new coronavirus infections and nine deaths from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, the country's statistics office said on Thursday morning.
Lithuania's 14-day coronavirus infection rate currently stands at 404.1 per 100,000 people, and the share of positive tests over the past seven days has been 7.7 percent.
Overall, 223,127 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Lithuania since the start of the pandemic.
Currently, 203,803 people are considered as having recovered from Covid-19, while 11,217 are active cases.
A total of 3,647 people have died from Covid-19 in Lithuania so far. The overall number of deaths directly or indirectly related to the coronavirus has reached 7,406.
Lithuania vaccinated 11,102 people with the first shot on Wednesday and 1,001 people got the second jab.
Overall, around 21 percent of the population have been vaccinated at least once: 415,942 people have been given one vaccine shot and 180,563 have had two jabs.
