Lithuania has registered 686 new coronavirus infections and six deaths from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, the country's statistics office said on Tuesday morning.
There were 3,699 molecular (PCR) tests for Covid-19 and 1,795 antigen tests performed over the same period.
Lithuania's 14-day coronavirus infection rate currently stands at 382.3 per 100,000 people, and the share of positive tests has been 7.5 percent over the past seven days.
On Monday, 3,668 people were vaccinated with the first shot and 46 got the second jab, according to Statistics Lithuania.
In all, 392,316 people have received one Covid-19 vaccine shot so far, 176,461 have been vaccinated twice.
Lithuania has confirmed 220,900 coronavirus infections since the start of the pandemic. Of them, 201,845 have recovered and 11,018 are considered active cases. So far, 3,623 people have died from Covid-19.
