Lithuania has confirmed 816 new coronavirus infections and six deaths from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, the country's statistics office said on Friday morning.
Over Thursday, 8,496 molecular (PCR) tests and 765 antigen tests were performed.
Lithuania's 14-day coronavirus infection rate currently stands at 297 cases per 100,000 people, and the share of positive tests over the past seven days has been 7.8 percent.
Meanwhile, 9,093 people have received the first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine in Lithuania over the past 24 hours, and 6,348 people have received the second dose, according to Statistics Lithuania.
A total of 310,915 people have received one vaccine shot so far and 143,348 have been given two jabs.
Lithuania has received more than 500,000 vaccine doses so far and has used 454,299 of them.
