Lithuania has registered 855 new coronavirus infections and twelve deaths from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, the country's statistics office said on Tuesday morning.
During the same time, 6,910 molecular (PCR) tests for Covid-19 and 1,159 antigen tests were performed.
Lithuania's 14-day coronavirus infection rate currently stands at 260.2 cases per 100,000 people, and the share of positive tests over the past seven days has been 6.8 percent.
Overall, 210,208 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Lithuania since the start of the pandemic.
Currently, 195,115 people are considered as having recovered from the disease, while 7,429 remain active cases.
A total of 3,501 people have died from Covid-19 in Lithuania so far. The overall number of deaths directly or indirectly related to the coronavirus has reached 7,082.
A total of 281,871 people have received their first coronavirus vaccine shots so far and 126,143 have been given the second jab, including 6,099 and 1,280, respectively, in the last 24 hours.
