Lithuania has registered 552 new coronavirus infections and ten deaths from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, the country's statistics office said on Thursday morning.
Meanwhile, 7,019 molecular (PCR) tests for Covid-19 and 831 antigen tests have been performed in the last 24 hours.
Lithuania's 14-day coronavirus infection rate currently stands at 234.6 cases per 100,000 people, and the share of positive tests over the past seven days has been 6.9 percent.
Overall, 207,469 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Lithuania since the start of the pandemic.
Currently, 192,922 people are considered as having recovered from Covid-19, while 7,054 are considered active cases.
A total of 3,442 people have died from Covid-19 in Lithuania so far. The overall number of deaths directly or indirectly related to the coronavirus has reached 6,950.
A total of 269,135 people have received their first coronavirus vaccine shots so far and 111,907 have been given the second jab, including 2,452 and 6,926, respectively, in the last 24 hours.
