Lithuania's statistics office reported 397 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, in addition to 589 reported on Saturday.
At the moment, the 14-day infection rate is 222.8 cases per 100,000 people. The share of positive test results over the last seven days stands at 6.4 percent.
Six people died of Covid-19 over Saturday, bringing the country's death toll to 3,396.
Since the start of the pandemic, 205,385 people were diagnosed with the coronavirus in Lithuania. Of them, 191,277 are considered as having recovered, while 6,739 are considered “statistically” active cases, meaning they have been diagnosed with the virus within the last 28 days.
Over Saturday, 1,020 people got their first vaccine jabs and 710 were given their second shots.
At the moment, 253,593 people in Lithuania have been vaccinated once and 98,924 have been given two jabs.
