Lithuania confirmed 213 new coronavirus cases over the last 24 hours, the country's statistics office reported on Monday morning.
Lithuania's 14-day infection rate currently stands at 238.7 per 100,000 people.
Moreover, eight people died of the disease over Sunday, bringing the total death toll to 3,336.
Since the start of the pandemic, 202,430 people in Lithuania have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. At the moment, 188,245 are considered by the statistics department as having recovered – which means that they were diagnosed more than 28 days ago and have not died – while 7,024 are considered active cases.
On Sunday, only one person got a vaccine jab.
So far, 210,179 people in the country have been vaccinated once, while 85,815 have been given two jabs.
