On Friday, Lithuania registered 654 new coronavirus infections and 19 deaths from Covid-19.
The coronavirus-related death toll now stands at 2,908, including four earlier fatalities added to the tally on Friday.
A total of 1,314 people were confirmed as having recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.
Overall, 185,601 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Lithuania since the start of the pandemic. The country currently has 44,957 active cases and 135,406 recoveries.
As of Friday morning, 77,425 people in Lithuania have received their first coronavirus vaccine shots and 37,165 have been given the second jab, including 1,408 and 6,295 in the last 24 hours, respectively.
A total of 1,965,801 tests for Covid-19 have been carried out in the country so far, including 7,623 in the past 24 hours.
