Lithuania has registered 546 new coronavirus infections and 17 deaths from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, the country's statistics office said on Tuesday morning.
The coronavirus-related death toll now stands at 2,847, including five earlier fatalities added to the tally on Tuesday.
A total of 1,782 people were confirmed as having recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.
Overall, 183,444 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Lithuania since the start of the pandemic. The country currently has 47,180 active cases and 131,151 recoveries.
On Monday, 1,019 people received the first coronavirus jab and 1,729 received their second shot.
As of Tuesday morning, 72,604 people in Lithuania have been vaccinated once and 23,172 have been given two jabs.
Over 7,000 people have been tested for the virus in the past 24 hours.
