Lithuania has registered 355 new coronavirus infections and 19 deaths from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, the country's statistics office said on Monday morning.
This is the lowest daily increase in new cases since late October when the second wave of infections started to rise. The number of fatalities, however, has yet to fall to pre-surge levels.
The coronavirus-related death toll in Lithuania now stands at 2,825, including three earlier fatalities added to the tally on Monday.
A total of 83 people were confirmed as having recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.
Overall, 182,893 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Lithuania since the start of the pandemic. The country currently has 48,581 active cases and 129,269 recoveries.
As of Monday morning, 71,448 people in Lithuania have received their first coronavirus vaccine shot and 21,113 have been given two jabs.
In the past 24 hours, 2,490 people were tested for the coronavirus.
