Lithuania registered 953 new coronavirus infections and 24 deaths from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, the country's statistics office said on Thursday morning.
A total of 1,370 people were confirmed as having recovered from the virus over the same period.
The coronavirus-related death toll now stands at 2,743, including six earlier fatalities added to the tally on Thursday.
Overall, 180,170 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Lithuania since the start of the pandemic. The country currently has 50,251 active cases and 125,670 recoveries.
As of Thursday morning, 64,355 people in Lithuania have received their first coronavirus vaccine shots and 12,320 have been given their second jab, including 3,226 and 2,358 in the last 24 hours, respectively.
A total of 1,901,881 tests for Covid-19 have been carried out in the country so far, including 9,574 in the past 24 hours.
