The leader provider of product reviews, Bazaarvoice, plans further development in Lithuania, according to a press release.

“Just a year ago, we were glad when the company chose to settle in Vilnius for the purpose of its development. This further expansion only proves that the values of the city overlap with those of Bazaarvoice – Vilnius and its residents are known for their enthusiasm, innovative approach and ambition,” said Remigijus Šimašius, mayor of Vilnius.

Bazaarvoice plans to employ a total of 100 people by the end of 2019.

“We chose the country for our development with a great sense of responsibility, and our decision was governed by the presence of professional and talented employees in Lithuania,” said Dub Landgrebe, Vice President for Client Deployment & Support Services at Bazaarvoice.

Each month in the Bazaarvoice Network, more than a billion consumers view and share content including reviews, questions and answers, and social photos across 6,000 brand and retail websites.

Bazaarvoice was founded in 2005, and currently has ten branches operating in the US, Northern Ireland, Benelux, Germany, France, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Lithuania.

Some 10 percent of the company’s total employees are from Lithuania.

In Vilnius, Bazaarvoice is hiring technical support analysts, service operators, finance and technical deployment engineers. Future vacancies will also include full stack developers and service brand coordinators.

“We consider a decision to be successful not only when the investor moves to the Lithuanian market, but especially when it is able to smoothly execute its plans and continue the development of the company,” said Mantas Katinas, Managing Director of Invest Lithuania.

Bazaarvoice publishes all vacant positions on its official website and the new employees are trained for one to two weeks at one of the company's offices either in Austin (Texas, USA) or in London (UK).

At the Lithuanian branch, employees provide technical assistance to Bazaarvoice customers – brands and retailers.

Throughout the company network, there were more than 66.8 million reviews, 2.2 million photos and 6.3 million questions posted in 2018 alone.

This user-created content allows to generate a huge amount of page views – around 5.8 billion – and to reach 1.1 billion shoppers each month, according to the press release.
